Faith Formation for Adults

Rock Springers believe in the importance of lifelong learning. From small-group meetings to Tuesday morning Bible studies, there are many opportunities for adults to explore their faith, how it impacts everyday life, and how to practice it in the wider world.

Over the course of the 2016-17 year the Bible Basics class, led by Janice Langholz and other guest facilitators, will read and study an old testament book.

Join the pastor who is preaching on the upcoming Sunday to discuss the scripture and themes for the upcoming worship service.

This video and discussion-based class considers many progressive religious ideas. This group meets weekly in Room 207 on the second floor of the Hunter Education Building at 10:00 a.m.

The reality is that I too have

Authored your pain.

I laid a blank piece of paper down

When you needed me to respond.

I chose the shortcut.

I learned complicity,

Learned to move quietly in my privilege,

Learned to let the doors open for me

Before walked inside.

I inherited fear

And did not unlearn it.

In fight or flight, I flew.

I confess all this.

And I commit to hearing

The raw stories,

To letting your vulnerability

Chafe me.
