Our December Fifth Sunday event is spilling over into January! Following worship next Sunday,  join us in Carpenter Hall for a New Year’s Eve potluck. You are invited to bring whatever dish or treat you’d like to contribute!  

January 15 - MLK Day of Service
There are hands-on service projects for all ages to strengthen and empower our community, as well as training opportunities for those looking for long-term volunteering. The vision is to make this holiday a “day on” and work together toward attaining Dr. King’s vision of a “Beloved Community.”

January 15 Schedule:

8:30 a.m. Check-in at the Arlington Career Center (816 S. Walter Reed Drive, Arlington, VA 22204). During check-in, there will be activities for all ages which remind us of Dr. King’s dream of creating a beloved community.

9:00 a.m. Program begins

9:30 a.m. Travel to a specific service project or volunteer training. Participants select their service project when registering for the event. Details are on the next page.

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Service project or volunteer training
