Families and Children

We have families of all shapes and sizes here. This is a place where you can bring the entire family and learn and grow together. In addition to programming for children, we have regular hands-on service opportunities for the whole family and social events that are designed for people of all ages. Every month that has a Fifth Sunday we join together as a church family (young, old, single, partnered) in service to the wider community. We offer Sunday School for children (preschool - 5th grade) during the 10:00 a.m. worship service in the summer. During the school year, we offer classes for preschool-12th grade at our 11:00 a.m. service. Children are always welcome in our worship services.

Changing tables are available in the nursery (Room 104), as well as in the men's and women's restrooms on the lower level of the Hunter Building and in Carpenter Hall.

Child care for infants and toddlers is provided by trained professionals on Sundays from 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

We warmly invite you and your children to join us on Sunday mornings for a time of spiritual enrichment and fun.

The reality is that I too have

Authored your pain.

I laid a blank piece of paper down

When you needed me to respond.

I chose the shortcut.

I learned complicity,

Learned to move quietly in my privilege,

Learned to let the doors open for me

Before walked inside.

I inherited fear

And did not unlearn it.

In fight or flight, I flew.

I confess all this.

And I commit to hearing

The raw stories,

To letting your vulnerability

Chafe me.
